Padstow Harbour News - sailing vessel "Matthew" visits Padstow
Sailing vl ‘Matthew’ – replica Tudor merchant ship which is being used for filming in the new ‘Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe’ film.
She is being escorted around by the ex Penlee Lifeboat ‘Mabel Alice’ (which was crewed / coxed by our very own own Harbour Master Rob Atkinson many years ago!!)

Matthew left Bristol on August 21st, on her way to Falmouth via Ilfracombe (and Padstow as you can see from the pictures above). She will be in Falmouth on August 29th & 30th, before her return to Bristol on September 6th.
