CAUTION  – BREA HILL BEACH

All walkers / Beach Users on the Rock side of the Camel Estuary in the area of Brea Hill Beach. The sand spit which is exposed at low water has been building and these recent changes have meant that the sand is extremely soft and capable of trapping a person. There are also abnormally strong tidal currents in the shallow water over this sand – capable of taking a person off their feet. Please take care if you are in this area or better still, stay away.
